Hey guys,

About to install some news gauges in the 80 and am looking for some inspiration on mounting locations that is not the standard pillar pod set up.

Have heard about some guys mounting under the dash fascia by the gear knob shifter but cant see old photos in this forum anymore.

Any recommendations around the topic appreciated too!

I got this from a Mud member here he can make them to accommodate different gauges. I believe @Cruisers and Co offers some options also.

UTcomp with trailTEQ enclosure. you can measure like a bunch of different things if you want to, up to 6 different reading on the screen at once, alarms, one output control.

Do not like the boy racer look of the pillar pod. Also, its illegal in NSW state as it slightly alters your view of the road, which is BS but so are half of their rules. i need to get blue slipped shortly so need to take this into consideration.

Thread 'Custom 3d Printed Overhead Consoles for 80 Series'

I have started printing some overhead consoles for the 80 series trucks. There a few to choose from. Gray and tan/oak. Im planning making a few other designs. Maybe one for a CB radio, a blank plate so you can cut your own holes, and anything else that you guys might have a need for. Let me know what you think. You cannot use the factory sun visors with these. I have the LS400 visors on my trucks and the consoles work fine with them. They have the same footprint as the factory consoles with the aux fuel gauge/compass/altimeter that were available in the Japanese and European...
