Advice: H to 2H swap in 79 HJ45 w/4 speed (1 Viewer)

Hey folks, I will pull my H out tomorrow and as I get closer to the other half of this swap.

I read in this thread previously that I may run into some issues with the starter and the bell housing and block arrangement, but the thread never showed a final solution.

I pulled the starter off the H and laid it up against the 2H and sure enough, may be an issue. I am looking for some of you more experienced folks to share some insight as to what you’ve done. I would like to keep the 4 speed, or better yet, I would like not to spend on a 5 speed right now.

Blue is 2H, dirtier is H

I'm looking forward to getting to the bottom of this.. I am yet to see photos but by all accounts the 2H starter will indeed fit after a little clearancing with an angle grinder - but its not clear to me where the clearancing is done..
 
I have a hj45 that we yanked an H out of to replace with a 2H. Starters are not compatible. H bellhousing does not fit the 2H. 2H bellhousing allows you to keep 4 spd. You may need to move the transmission mount though. We were mocking up a 2H with a 5 speed. 5 speed needs more fab work on the tranny cover if you dont have uber rare 40 5 spd top plate.

I have several 2Hs and 2H/12HT bellhousings for sale if you need. I also have the AC bracket kit for the 2H/ 12HT that is for sale.

So the 2H bell housing will mate up to the 4 speed though?
What starter do I need?
Can I still use my H flywheel?

I guess what you may be saying is
New starter
New housing
Maybe new flywheel
Changes to the Clutch?
Any part numbers would be super helpful if you know them.

New starter
New bell housing (2H or 12HT) mates to 4 or 5 speed
2H flywheel
2H clutch and clutch plate
2H tach sensor (if you want rpm reader)
@orangefj45 of valley hybrids maybe able to hook you up. He got me flywheel and terrain tamer HD clutch kit

If not Radd cruisers in Vancouver.
