l think l have the one l removed from 5spd 1hdt. I'll root in the garage for it. In Colorado. It was not damaged when l pulled it.
Sorry :/ l do not still have mine. Happy hunting!! And rigging it to be manual. Sounds like an interesting project! I do dig farking around. Using the locking rpm pull wont do it for you to increase revs when its cold out?

Hi,
many thx for the detailed description how to get rid of the ACSD - my IP is also leaking and I need to tackle that leakage. Got hopefully the right blanking plate and the green o-ring ordered from a local Bosch service near by overnight.
What interests me now is the length of the sleeve to be made for the long third bolt. Would someone please be so kind and measure the thickness which needs to be bridged?
I'm also a bit confused as a bit further up in this article somebody said the bolts are brass bolts? Can somebody please confirm?
It's an HDT 12V auto, RHD, '94s model

There are no brass bolts.

I measure the thickness of the ACSD at the top bolt holding it onto the pump body at 31 mm.

No worries, thanks for checking. I'm not trying to make a manual over-ride, I just mean that there are different ACSD components for the manual and auto transmission versions (because of the kick-down cable bracket).

So... still looking for a manual transmission 80 Series 1HD-T ACSD!

Hi guys.

I'm putting a 15B-T engine from an automatic Mega Cruiser into my 60 Series and wanto retain the ACSD and AC idle-up features. I therefore need to replace the kickdown cable bracket (which went with the A443F) with parts for a manual set-up.

I'm looking for a junk ACSD - I just need the crank piece (which moves as the thermo-wax expands and pushes the idle-up bracket) to adapt my own ACSD from auto to manual spec, so the condition of the internals is not important. It needs to be from a manual (not auto) 80 Series 1HD-T to match the idle-up bracket and actuator which I have here. It could be posted to an address in the US, Australia, or Europe.

Thanks
Just saw this. I did remove mine, do you still want it. It's free.

Thanks a lot! I think I have found one which shoud be with me soon, but I'll message you in case it doesn't work out. Just to check - it's from a manual 1HD-T HDJ80?

Does anyone have photos of where the hoses from the ACSD connect to the engine block? One of them is right next to the oil filter found that out today when the rubber cap the mechanic put on it after I had the motor rebuilt ripped open and lost all of my coolant. My ACSD was deleted 6 years ago and it was just connected in loop. But now after rebuild the mechanic just put a rubber plug.

I just need to know where the other plug is so I can connect it with a hose and actually make it home on this Christmas day!

It’s just above the oil cooler on the head. Between cylinders 2 and 3 intake ports.

Here is a photo of both of them. One is on the oil cooler itself - has the hose on it in the photo. Second is above in the head.

Thanks I kinda had a feeling that was gonna be it since the plug that's in there doesn't have a hose bib and is the only one that isn't painted 🙄... now I have to figure out how to block the lower hose bib so I can actually drive.

What is the likelihood of engine damage after a fresh rebuild 1000km's on the clock.
Depends how long it was driving around for without coolant. Fill it up and check for signs of coolant pressurisation or overheating.

To do a proper job of the ACSD removal I would undo both hose unions and replace them with taper plugs that will never leak or fail. I believe the p/n is given in one of them many ACSD delete threads. I believe it is 90345-52001, but you should check.
