No I did not see any reason to, the slide in portion of the ball mount drop hitch I am using does not require that much depth.did you cut your crossmember to fit the receiver?

I will be there from April 20-30. Kinda bad timing as I arrive on the last day of Easter Jeep Safari and leave on the first day of Cruise Moab. But its all that my work schedule would allow. I personally only know of 2 other Albertans that will be there during this time and they are members of the Lethbridge Coulee Kruzers http://www.lethbridgecouleekruzers.com/
Great build, just came across this thread..

I read the first 3 or 4 pages and loved your work but skipped to the end to reply. One of the guys back then suggested you replace your drop pitman arm. I was just wondering if you did or have one for sale as I need the drop pitman arm shown in your pics. Cheers. No I still have to open both doors to access the LH drawer, otherwise the drawer ends up being way to narrow. I made the drawers two different sizes to accomodate larger items.
The only thing I would change if doing it again is to keep them 1-2 inches shorter. Its a little high when loaded and trying to reach things up top
Best advise I can give you is to not cheap out on the sliders. My drawers are loaded heavy all of the time and I dont think cheap ones would have held up.
