This may be a dumb question but why do the 95+ have two cats? I get the 94 because the exhaust is split but why two in line?
I think it's the same thing, the 95+ is the same split exhaust the two to one is just before the cats instead of just after.
Another option for the 93-94s is to use the 95+ two into one cat eliminate/don't use the second cat and do a cut and turn on the first cat so it's flat instead of hanging down.
I have the parts to do this on my 94 but was waiting for the cats to die but they just won't die it's been 6 year since I got the parts 😂 the cats look smashed and mangled from uncountable hits in the rock same with the OEM muller but there's no leaks and it stills passes smog.

any update on this thread. Im looking to do this to my Lexus as we speak. It seems as though the downpipe is no longer available. Any other options.

Add it to your wish list on partsouq.com and they will email you when it becomes available.

The 105 downpipe is a cool alternative to the usual over/under thing that I did with my turbo'ed exhaust. For ease of installation, I did use V band clamps everywhere, but it does add to the final cost quite a bit. However, the ease of future removal is a pleasure and not having to worry about gaskets is also quite sweet.

Keep up the good work!

I think I go faster now. No noticeable change without the dampener.

My exhaust is too far gone and i'm gonna go this route. Can you post a pic of where you welded the O2 bungs? No codes without cats? TIA

I am throwing codes currently but am working on a solution. Will report back once I can move back into my garage due to a home renovation resulting in a vehicle eviction...
