Newish to me fzj80.
Shop says they can't adjust the alignment due to seized tie rod ends and want me to buy tubes and ends.
Tre's seem to be in good shape and tubes are not bent. I am thinking I just remove and soak the tubes and tre's so they can adjust it and have them try again.

Anything I /they are missing here?

Brand new 37x12.5x17 wildpeak at4's. Slee 4" lift kit. 1997

Don't go back there. You can do this yourself.

I like your style.
Any concern with the caster? Really dont wanna ruin these new tires
The only adjustments you get with a solid front axle are toe and steering wheel center.
Caster has to be adjusted through weld on plates or front leading arms to rotate the axle.

Personally, I adjust toe with the front on jackstands, 1 sheet metal screw in each tire, and a tape measure.
Measure with the screws at center of the axle in front. Rotate to the rear and measure again.
R-F=toe in. I go for about 1/4".

Here's the rub: it might be true. I was told the very same thing at my first alignment. The TREs were seized so badly, the threads were destroyed getting them apart, so the replacements would not thread in, and I had to replace it all in the end.

If the rig is newish to you, i'd bite the bullet and get all new tie rod ends, tie rod, and the drag link. This way it's all brand new and you can put a bit of antiseize on the threads. 555 tie rod ends seem to be popular and good quality from Cruisertech.com. As other said, you can adjust to the toe yourself, and there are tons of YT vids and pics on this site. You have lots of caster in that printout so it should track nicely down the road once you set the toe. For 37s, some folks go toe in 3/16", and it looks like 1/4" is also mentioned previously.

If you are lazy and have money you can just buy the whole tie rod assembly and drag link / relay rod assembly from Toyota and you just have to remove and reinstall a total of 4 castle nuts.

Slee makes nice replacements for the tie rod and relay rod and 666 tie rod ends from Cruiser Outfitters are great.

And they are very easy to adjust at home. I use TMR plates and tape measures but there are many ways to measure.

Awesome info, thanks all!
I got the tie rod and ends off the car and put some muscle into getting them to break loose and they are all free.
One tre boot has a rip, plus I want to be able to grease them so I will go ahead and replace all tre's.
While in there, did the necessary adjustments, measured as directed and got 1/8" toe.
Will throw on new tre's when they arrive and re measure

Your a little high on castor, that won't wear your ties but all that toe will. There is a much better screen to use on that alignment machine, there is another that has "total toe" and "steer ahead" it usually does take a little effort to get those adjusters loosened up and moving usually a "clap" with two big hammers will do it, if not the touch will get it done. the one with the arrow is the drag link it only effects your steer ahead and it looks pretty close already. your more worried about the adjusters on the other side, the tie rod, that's what needs adjusted to get your toe in spec.
