Ill check out black haze.

I built some engine mounts today and tacked them in. I will pull then engine and finish welding them next week.

Everything is still fitting really well. I put the hood back on to check for clearance and had no problems. I have a feeling that the TD adapter moves the engine forward and the R150f is already putting the engine forward making everything easier.

I did have some issues with the passenger side mount interfering with the starter so I will have to fix that.

Drivers side mount. I had a lot of room so this one was easy.

This is the passenger side. It looks better in person but I didnt have much room to work with and will fix is when i pull it out

Here is the top view of the passenger side

This is the front view of the passenger side. I had to make it fit on engine and frame sides and keep enough room to access the mounting bolts.

The V8 yota starter is a tight fit. I was originally running a DCS adapter plate with a 3.0 starter, I had to notch my engine mount bracket a bit to make enough room to fit the bigger starter.

After running for a few, the much stiffer than stock 22re engine mounts began to flex a little more I also had to add some shims under my engine mount as my oil pan was starting to kiss my front differential under heavy acceleration. Like you, I wanted my engine as low as possible in the chassis to help keep the cog low and help with drive shaft angles.

I'm going to try to make a mount that allows me to remove the starter with out removing the engine mount. I havent pulled the engine to get a good look at the mounts as they are so Im not sure how Ill do it. I still have the front engine mount on the engine so if I need to add some support I can do it up there where there is more room. Since Im using 1/4" steel I think with a few gussets one piece from the engine to the frame should be enough. I think that if I can bend 1/4" steel something else has gone wrong.

I just pulled the engine and the good news is the drivers side mount looks great. It doesn't interfere with anything and will be very strong.

The passenger side looks...not so great. Im not sure if its crooked or is supposed to be that way. I built it is place so it should be correct but it looks odd. I have some ideas so maybe something good will come out of it.

I put a bracket together with cardboard before cutting metal. Not an exact science but I was able to get an idea of what I wanted before I started cutting metal.

I can indeed remove the starter without removing the bracket. It's a tight fit, but still one of the easiest starters to replace on any of the vehicles I've owned.

I built this one out of cardboard but the cardboard looked better. I saw some pictures of people who had moved the mount forward almost to the front of the engine and I’m going to see how that works for my setup.
