For Sale 82 and 81

I have an 82 and 81 truck for sale. 82 has power steering. Problems with 82:
Transmission pops out of first gear if not engaged. Transfer case needs cajoling to shift between 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. Bed has rust and diamond plate welded over it. Welded in new floor pans.

81 has no problems. Govt truck and is in great condition. Trucks located in Chattanooga,TN. Both trucks run fine and have been driven 45 minute trips with no issues. First pics are of 82.

I got that quote from, of all people, a car salesman buddy of mine.
If your kid only had 10 fingers and toes, then they were a 2 full hands or feet short...

And four eyes.. He looked at me funny for sure.

Haha. No worries. I really want to sell one. I don't need two. I'm telling you they both drive great. The 81 engine purrs better than my camry. And the power steering on the 82 is a big plus. I just want someone to come see them and give a fair opinion. There has to be someone who lives in Nashville, Atlanta or a city close to Chattanooga. I do get pissed when someone implies I'm a crook but fighting over the Internet is ....

Wouldn't it just be easier to post some pics to back up your boasting about the condition of these trucks, given the exorbitant asking prices and the fact that no one has offered to check out the trucks personally?

Ha. I think this is a case of you believing something and having it become a reality. It is like a lie being repeated by different people and then you think it really happened. I went back to read my posts to see if maybe I had gone senile but I don't think so. If by boasting you mean I said the trucks ran great, then you are correct I boasted. I said the 81 ran great and it was stock minus the headliner and bedliner. I have never seen a Saudi truck that for the most part wasn't stock. The 82 I think I might actually have exaggerated the transmission and transfer case issues. It doesn't pop out of first gear all the time but it has before and recently it has been shifting smoothly between 4 and 2wd. When I reviewed the posts it was really just me stating I didn't THINK the trucks were the "dogs" you made them out to be and that I wasn't a CROOK or trying to deceive anyone. What crook wants you to come see and drive the trucks.

They run great and I STAND by that. Now what is "great" truck is a matter of opinion. And how much they are worth is a matter of opinion. And to not to sound sensitive but I don't really get the animosity. I mean I don't care, I don't know anyone here and no one is obligated to be courteous but **** all I did was say the price I wanted and people got angry. I don't know what exorbitant is because I haven't seen many much cheaper and I said this before and it shouldn't be relevant but the belief that I am making money is actually wrong. I will probably lose a little or maybe more than a little but that is not relevant.

And maybe I am not the best person to give an "extensive" description of a cruiser. I can just tell you what I know. And people have asked for more pictures and details and I don't think they got the impression of being decieved. They just didn't go about it by bashing the trucks and then justify it by saying I didn't post enough pictures.
