OK so, even with this kit, I will still need to source a harness, georges ecu, the transfer switch if i dont get one from your kit, what else is needed? can you tell me a shopping list? i want this , but im not a mechanic, I plan to approach my mechanic with the parts and idea and have us together put it in action.

no.. you will not be. You still need the OEM computer and wire harnesses. I have a harness but they will be hard to find in good condition. The transfer switch is also needed and is only available on the petrol versions. Some guys received these as part of the package but not all. I don't have anymore of them. I don't recommend the full OEM it will be a lot more time, work, and $$$ for no difference in performance between dropping an after market pump in. Also, a used transfer pump may stop working. A full replacement is $4-500 IIRMC.

please search under subtank in the 80s threads. It will depend on how you want to install the tank setup. Im not a mechanic either although I can disassemble almost anything... There are a couple of threads that walk you through the process. Either that or have your mechanic take a look. Its not a technically difficult installation but there are a lot of steps including wiring to get the subtank cluster operating.

Define loose baffles , why are they loose or can they be fixed?

i guess i missed this one, if another one comes up or if anyone wants to sell me there own, let me know, ill buy it, i prefer the tan interior pieces.

all consoles came in grey... You can pick up some plastic paint at ace and spray the console. I did that with my original console a couple years ago and have not flaking and color matches great.

Baffles are moving around in the bottom of the tank.. Some people have used tanks with loose baffles but it would probably annoy me. I have also heard of people cutting them out.

If you are lucky, you can find overhead consoles that came in brown/oak. I got mine off of Australian eBay.
