Got my switch and my rod. Thanks Chris.

I received the switch that have only 5 pings on back, I guess that this is the 80 Series diesel version, I wonder if somebody of the subtank group did receive the 80 series petrol version instead of the diesel?
thanks

If someone is NOT using George's Ecu for the install and has the petrol version of the switch please swap with Johnathan. The diesel switch IMO is better to have if your not using a computer as it stays in the down position when pressed. I may get additional switches but that wont be fror atleast 6 weeks (seamail).

Any update on the status of future shipments? I'd like to be added to the list

Please add me to the 80's list!

X2 ^^^^^
on a complete system for my 80.Cheers

The list has been revised. I have 2 more units of the 80 series that Im waiting on the non-cut fillers. I also have one 80 tank that has loose baffles. This one is also available. I have emailed the next in line and will give each guy 2 days to respond with a confirmation. I will be able to ship Oct. 20.

Thanks

Im still waiting to see if additional tanks are available. Right now they only have 100 series tanks.

For those that have received there 80s tank have any installed it yet and wrote about it?

I haven't seen anything yet but there's a ton of great info here. I went with George's ECU and his, boston manglers, romers and el mariaches write ups have been very helpful.

In boston manglers write up, he plugged a spare vent line but it was a long ranger tank not OEM.

PM

Due to the slow response times.. and approaching trip to AZ I need to speed up the confirmation.. I will send a pm to whoever is next on the list and will give them 1 day to confirm or I will move down the list.

list updated.

thanks

Sounds good, IM ready to go when if it gets down to me.

its all cleaned out...

There are many 80 series installs.. Romer has an install, el mariachi, etc. Search for subtank you will find them easily! I don't feel the install is overly complicated unless you want to go full OEM but it has a lot of steps...

That's what I'm planning on doing, a full OEM setup as if it came from Toyota and work with my mechanic on it, I'm hoping for more "plug / snap and go" and next to none special handling

If I follow el mariachi (which is what I plan to do) I should be all set with this 80 series kit, correct ??

no.. you will not be. You still need the OEM computer and wire harnesses. I have a harness but they will be hard to find in good condition. The transfer switch is also needed and is only available on the petrol versions. Some guys received these as part of the package but not all. I don't have anymore of them. I don't recommend the full OEM it will be a lot more time, work, and $$$ for no difference in performance between dropping an after market pump in. Also, a used transfer pump may stop working. A full replacement is $4-500 IIRMC.

Guys,
please check your PMs. I have offered the setups to a few guys on the list and did not hear back. Once i offer it to the next in line your opportunity to get the tank is no longer availabe:doh:

I realize people do not check Mud all the time but i suggest you setup an alert so you know when PMs are received. Unfortunately I don't have the time to wait for confirmations.

thanks
