As manager I get my customary 10%. Since you will be managing me you get 10% of MY 10% :flipoff2:

If your boy is as successful as the Eagles or Bon Jovi I will take the 10% of your 10% and be happy with it. Here is another name your kid could use for his band........."Triple Flip" :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2:

Well it's more about consistency and spreading the cost of the die. The emboss gives you a flat lid. Now if you wanted to mount things on top of the lid and let's say maybe...conspicuously "hide" the keyhole you can.

By all means spread out the cost of the die. I don't have enough serious metal work to consider stuff like that. And would prefer a flat surface to a crumb free one. Besides, I don't eat or let others eat in the cruiser anyway. Just tossed that out there to help with band names and to secure 10% of 10% of 10%.

**UPDATE**

I have two bits of news, both are good and bad...I suppose, from your points of view.

1. The metal shop is having an outside shop produce the die for me because of their backlog. Their outside shop wants an extra 10 days to produce the die. This basically pushes all of the production for the lids (Lock Box and FEM) back at least a week. I wanted them to at least do the LockBoxes so I can get those started but they said no because they are doing all the 14gauge jobs all at one time so they aren't going to split up their production for me.

2. Just heard back from the hinge manufacturer. I can get the hinge with the spring open AND cut to size which is great because it means I get what I want, I don't have to cut anything myself and then finish the edges, I can give you guys a feature you weren't even expecting and the price isn't horrible since I'm purchasing enough to get all the hinges for all the models of LockBoxes that I am planning to produce. The bad news is there is a three week leadtime. I am trying to work with them to see what can be done to reduce that timing but so far that is where its at.

So yes I do unfortunately need to push back the delivery date BUT I really do think its for features worth having. If this is an issue for anyone please please let me know and I will refund because I don't want to hold up your cash without giving you product in return any longer than I absolutely need to.

On the flip side it also means I will have everything I need ahead of time to produce the LX Lock Box, the early 80s/62 Lock Box and even the 60 Series Lock Box. Still working out the details on the 100 Series LockBox.

Thoughts? Please speak your mind. I'm all ears. For those that are part of the GroupBuy, I will be contacting you individually as well so that it can go through my CRM.

No issue on my end, This is a nice to have product, it's not a part I need to keep the wheels moving. I appreciate the extra effort to make it as good as it can be.

Expected wait time anyway for a product in the final stages of R&D. No biggie here at all.

Not a problem with the extra time needed. I am very happy to see that the spring loaded hinge is going to happen.

Lookie what I just picked up!

Wanna see what $2500 of Medeco Locks look like? Ouch :(

The singles, the dual keyed-alike, the multiple keys, etc.
