Well, here it is the end of Aug and I have no joy to bring to you guys and its make me sad and upset. I'm not used to being treated like this by vendors because of the companies I've been involved with in the past but yet here I am. I went thru pure exhaustion going to NC to help out my folks. During that time still trying to get everyone on the Wits' End side to be run like a well oiled machine while I was gone. I had everything and everyone lined up. Everyone had their marching orders while I was gone. Of course it was all for naught.

The spring assisted hinges were delivered but what they sent was based on version 1 specs and not version 2. Completely unusable since I original quoted at 5.5" but what I ordered was 5". They didn't verify and went off the quote and sent me all the incorrectly sized units. Dumbfounded. They are getting in new hinge knuckles that meet my specs but are now estimating a delivery date of 9/14 but they are trying to push for sooner.

The CNC metal shop needed to push me yet again until next Friday now. My head is about to explode. The good news is they are giving me net 30 on this order which is a small saving grace because it means I will have a few weeks extra to pay for it all.

On the positive side I got in all of the hardware for the ChairLift™ product so now I can do a test fit on my truck and get some pics going. I also got the 3rd round of CargoLiner™ pouch for the FEM-1 Fire Extinguisher Mount. I need to get some Velcro® loop and affix it to my FEM to see how well it does what I need it to do. I added a shallow pocket but I'm not too sure how useful that will be. I may wind up removing it.

Soooooo again I need to apologize that this hasn't fully materialized yet. Trust me, its happening. If you could see my garage you'd see that I'm itching for this stuff to get here so that I can get started on assembling all of these. Its making me consider taking up drinking :wine:

On top of this I have several other products that I am dying to release/show/get feedback but I've decided to hold off until this product starts shipping because I'm not going to take more of your money unless I have something to deliver. I don't want to be another Shane or UnderDawg. It will kill me.

No worries from me. I'm cool with whatever. I'm sure they'll show up at sometime which is fine for me. I've got other big projects in the works to keep me busy for a little while.

Not a problem on my end at all. Once it arrives, I'll have a Wit's End party and install all the goodies that I've gotten from you so far. I also look forward to your other ideas. No one is having to cancel their summer plans because they haven't gotten their lockbox yet and your products and customer service are above reproach. Sometimes s*** happens, what are you gonna do?

This isn't a full time venture since most of the hard work starting Wits' End is over. I'm trying to get my son to take over the admin so I can focus on product development. I have a slate of now 48 products that need my love

@NLXTACY, I had my own medical device manufacting company for 30 years. I broke my neck about 6 weeks ago, and decided to sell my company to my business partners. I've been in your shoes caring for others, now I'm taking some time to care for myself. I neglected a lot of things doing so. Keep up the good work. You're not too far from me, so if I buy anything, maybe I can come pick it up. You have some neat little products.
