I am parting out a 1996 80 Series that was purchased new in New Orleans, and spent the entirety of its life there until this weekend. The blue wire you cut is the power wire for the antenna. You can tie it into the RED (IGN 12v) and it should function again. If not you have another issue.

Just got around to wiring this back in tonight, and the antenna works just like it did before now. Thank you!!
