My trucks running well at 260k. It was a DD for awhile but then I backed off the mileage ang a 2nd car... I’ve heard of folks running these rigs out to 500k......

I am at 260K and it doesn't use any oil and it runs seemingly perfectly. I see no signs of this rig not lasting another 23 years.

I am curious to see how the bulk of the remaining 80s fare as we move into their middle age. It seems like an average driver puts on around 10,000 miles per year. In my case that would be roughly another 10 years before I hit 350K which seems like a long time but not that many miles compared to what some of the top mileage numbers that I have seen here. There was that one dude from Alaska(I think) that had almost 500K on his and it was still running on the original everything in the motor.

I wonder what the eventual record will be?

137k on one
156k on the other

Mine has about 410,000. Runs well. Really well actaully. Got a new short block and a used head getting worked over. Gonna put those in this winter.
Though my mechanic buddy says let it run untill it won't run no more or 1 million. Whatever comes first.

Yes the gentleman from Alaska had 500,000 something when he threw in the towel on it.

As of a couple days ago

I know there's been a couple 1fzs with higher mileage, but haven't ever seen any 3FEs up that high.

Anyone have a 3FE with more?

321k or thereabouts. Actually more since my odometer crapped out for a couple months and then came back to life :hillbilly:

245k and counting. Did a PM headgasket and head refresh while at it. Cylinder bores still had original hone marks!!!! Swiss watch.

Odometer shows 275k ish, but it's off by just under 20k. Approaching 300k with the original head gasket. Original PHH made it to 266k before it was swapped out as preventative maintenance.

I have two. Both have about 220,000 miles on them. They have definitely not been easy miles....

Just hit 200,000. Purchased as an import to Angola from California in 2009 with 165,000 with no service records. Took her to Namibia for a service for her 21st birthday and hit 200,000 on the return to Angola. Engine still purrs like a sewing machine!
