Just a ?, on the hiegth adjustment, why not order taller springs ?
I was planning on it. Did a lot of research, Wanted to get dobinson. The only reason I didn’t do it is that the springs r rated for fj80 body not 40. Wasn’t sure how much lift I would get with stock replacements . Also I would think that heavier stock replacements spring will ride much harder than original.

Build a quick airbox to keep the exhaust heat away from intake. Will probably build a more enclosed one this winter

@plfj40 what a great build! I should have came out to Coal Miner to see it in person. Also you are either a master of organisation or really good at hiding the mess lol your garage looks great. Mine would look like a tornado came through it if i was doing a project like that lol

Any updates?

Not much update, was building my 4seater buggy last winter so will be working on the 40 soon,
Got to finish the gauge cluster, sliders, maybe a hardtop. Will see

Finally fixed my exhaust leak. Used 2 exhaust donuts on each collector pipe.

That’s awesome 👍

This is basically everything I could want out of a 40/80 build. Minus v8 5 speed.

Thanks for posting this.

I love the low height and 37s. That’s exactly what I want.
