Well done. It looks like yours is the only one that could make it home in a foot of new snow or cross a wash out in the flash thaw.
Very true lol! Also the only vehicle with a winch on the premises haha

Cars that caught my eye

Going over the cruiser with the judges. They checked all lights, horn & starting of the engine

The photo album on the bottom of the last photo has all the vintage photos we found and the entire mechanical restoration in chronological order.

I came across this photo online and had to find out more about the cup holder.

After some digging I found a YouTube video where the designer offers his files free or you could buy a printed cup holder from him. Asked a buddy with a printer if he could handle it and he said no prob! We went out for pastrami burgers after and tested it out lol.

I think I finally found a decent solution for the unobtanium speedo grommet. I tried a plug from Amazon that was the same size as the hole, but the center was paper thin rubber that tore and looked bad. Found this 3/8 shock bushing in my parts bin and cut a slit in it to slide over the cable. Then I pressed it into the firewall hole perfectly!

The valve train was a bit noisy lately and I think I adjusted the valves before the motor was at full operating temp last time. Decided to ruin my morning and adjust the valves lol. Good thing I did, because they were all loose. I ran the motor without the valve cover to heat it up and adjusted all valves by the book. Repeated that process three times before I was good with it.

Installed the “aqua hub” 3f fan clutch, but I don’t feel like it’s pulling that much more air over the original fan clutch. Going to take it off and add some 10k cst fluid to get it to hit harder.

I decided to try the paper clip test on the secondary on the test drive after the fan clutch install. It failed the test, so that explains why it’s gutless up an incline. Going to take the carb off and see if there is anything preventing it from working as it should…
