Slow motion day here in the Mountain State.

Forecast is for rain all day so, just hitting some small nonchalant projects around the house. The Mrs was working up a sourdough starter, so I slipped down to the stall to fiddle with the Mule. Added the gasket to the direct shift and mounted it with some Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket. This stuff has been around since pilots wore sheep skin coats and shot at each other with pistols.

I like it for the thin paper gaskets. It doesn’t harden permanently and remains tacky to the touch.

Hit the seat mounts with some fresh satin black too.

Just killing time collecting parts. Had to reorder a Lokar throttle cable for the Sniper. Also, Georg @orangefj45, is lending a huge assist rounding up a few pieces and parts for the mechanical upgrades.

@Homey15

Bagged, tagged and ready for the USPS hand off. Idaho to Wv back to Kansas. The YOTA universe is dynamic. I tried to round up a quart of Preston Co branch water for you as well but, apparently it’s no done “percolating“. Remind me later and I’ll pull you back a sampler 😉.

I've come to a realization as I get on in years...the good (best) things in life take time to mature/materialize(and can't be forced along), which makes the payoff stage all the sweeter. This seems to apply to all facets of life...be it women, cars, homeownership, fishing/hunting, or homebrew substances. Regardless of the category, if it's good- it'll be worth the wait. Thank you sir!

Aye Captain…. In due time.

Still not topless. Holding off until till “fools spring“ is over and the sun makes its debut.

Lokar throttle cable came in today. Had a hard time getting my hands on one this winter. Redline had them back in stock.
Theres a post filter somewhere in the USPS void that should be here Monday-ish. Picked up some Yoda Red for cooling OPS.

Mothers day weekend so I‘ll probably be sitting out any Mule related projects till next week. Making the trek to see Grandma Chunga and pick up my new “Beverage Temperature Modulator” aka the mini fridge. The old modulator finally gave up the spirit. RIP old friend, RIP. More than one container of instant great idea(s) we’re kept there. :beer:

I have a small bag o‘ bits inbound from SOR that should get me over the hump on the upcoming transplant. I “think” the only parts I’ll need to canabalize is the shift tower, shifter and linkage.

I don't see any WVU chicks yet!

🙄Well sir ya see, it’s a funny phenomenon, horticultural-ly speaking. I think they only bloom in July.

BTW, “EPIC“ pic you posted over on the “frame off channel”…

The true WVU chicks that are there in July are the ones you and the mule want to hang out with anyway, just sayin.

Chicks that are there for summer school obviously have to try harder!

Fellas, I’m only the driver. The Mule has its ways. I think it’s the “Diamond Plate”, it mesmerizes them somehow.
