Managed just a few small things this weekend (Sunday) on the mule...Spent most of my spare time catching up on some chores at "Hunting Camp" (gratuitous pictures enclosed solely for the purpose of showing where the "Mule" spends it's fall/winter). This Camp was the reason I bought the mule in the 1st place....So, WTH:smokin:

My tool bag arrived. Test fit went off without a hitch. Did not have time to stop at the hardware store for the 3/8" clamp(s). But, the 1/2" gives you an idea of the fit. Fits snugly. The mule is happy..I am, happy. Putting together a small kit, two "Toyota" OE pieces so far..

I went ahead and pick-up a tranny hump seal kit from SOR. I bitc#ed about the price until it arrived and I put it on. Took all of five minutes to install. The time I saved alone was worth the price..BUT, I installed it and did not take pics...Kit came with screws so I used them...Managed to mount the gas tank as well.

All - Rumors of my demise at the hands of the "Gopher Cong" are greatly exaggerated. I do have some updates that I'll post soon. Currently out-smarted and fighting a crafty semi nocturnal Odocoileus virginianus....Thanks for breaking squelch and checking on my status...I do have a tale or two from the "Preston County Buckwheat Festival" that should be ready for pen and ink too. Lot's of time in the stand!!!

The painter also must have run out of better things to do or the 2nd coming was imminent...I Picked-up my hood and fenders last week.....! All that and only one small glitch..Went something like this, "Ah, sorry man I forgot to paint your radiator support. I can have it done in a week or so"...Me, "Ah, I don't F&^%#$g think so"....

A mere eight or so months..Eh, who's counting....

Danny isn't that what they call cutting the rose? The smell may carry if you have one of those new smell-a-vision computers:hillbilly:.

Looking good so far!! Indicators are for an early rut...Probably going to take a freezer doe (read old) next weekend...Howz it looking in your neck of the woods?
 
Better get some "tech" in before this swings over to a "fur, fish and game" thread.

Re-habed-furbished the turn signals with lenses, gaskets, screws and bulbs earlier. Re-wired, tapped and added aftermarket mounts. Mounts are from a pair of donor lamps I had on the shelf...

Used a JD yellow. Not real thrilled with the color. May hit it with another yellow (TBD).

1st coat of the JD yellow...I'll make the call on a different yellow after the 2nd or 3rd coat.
