The doughnuts are just keeping the wheels lubed and spinning. In our shop here where I work when someone comes in with fat pills as we call them some how magically their vehicle gets done a little bit faster.
Whether intentional or not, the screw heads are synced … I love that.

I questioned a few things on my Sniper install and the battery voltage is one of them. My stats are near identical as yours. When cranking, I saw it drop on the face of the Sniper hand held to around 10.8 but only for the 1 second it takes to start. Like you, running is 14.3, resting is 12.8. I also need to check with a more reliable meter than the Holley hand held as I don’t know how it’s measuring the real value. If it’s thru the main power leads, it may be the actual voltage. I have no problems anywhere and when I pull the switch on the new Kyoto headlamps only the ammeter rises up for a few seconds
What became the determining factor regarding positioning of the tach mount plate. I see you have the thinner part on top. ( I know nothing on this mount is thin…it will out last 4 truck lifetimes). I never looked closely enough at mine to see how it might be mounted or if there is a viewing angle that works best
