Questioning my build, how do you set the proper pinion angle after you spring over and add arch to your springs . I know after that you cut and rotate knuckles to 4*

I think people typically point their pinions at the t-case, but this requires double cardon drive shaft any time the two flanges are not parallel.
Your front shaft is so short on a Pig that you may have a hard time fitting that in.
I am by no means a SOA expert, much less an SOA for Pig expert.

Is anyone running a shackle reverse? I'm looking for the measurement from eye to eye on the frame mounts

according to the factory line drawings, as seen in another thread, the stock frame mounting eye to eye centerline is 1071MM. I'm guessing that allows for proper(stock) shackle angle, as that is how they rolled off the assembly line. Id imagine that would be the same dimension in either a shackle forward or rearside situation. I have a MAF SR kit welded on to my rig and the angle is almost nill(90*) when on the level(I don't like that part of this type of suspension and would make mine with more natural shackle angle in it)I will measure the frame mounting eye to eye dimensions tomorrow in case it helps.

Okay. from the center of the pin that secures the shackle to the rear spring hanger to the center of the front spring pin, there is a gap of 43 1/16" on my rig with the MAF S/R welded on. This is with stock front springs under axle. YMMV. I lean towards very much liking the SR, but more the idea and not so much the product I'm running at the moment. I think a spring over with custom lo profile reversal would be excellent.

and 1071mm is 42.16" so MAFs set up has the springs riding in a different plane, which is why the shackle angle is almost straight up.....and also why they say the axle will set forward just a bit.....:hhmm:

LiL John turned me on to this, Auto Zone auto parts has them for $142 look for prt# 27-7511 or 27-7520 depending on input shaft size you are running. They are local to me but they have an online too. Let me know if you have trouble . Oh no core charge either .

Bought a new pair of shoes for the pig today.I snuck them through the back yard and into the garage so I don't have to sleep on the couch.:)
