As I interpret these photos I see that the soft top has gone back on the 70 series therefore the weather has become too cool for comfort to run topless. This begs the question, "Time for socks with sandals?"

Thanks guys for the kind words about mine.

That silver one looks pretty clean also but if it doesn't work out for some reason, I am only three hours away if you wanted to see mine.

I’ve been watching this one in Bham

These two pics tell me a lot.... as a Toyota “person.”

What is this... A Star Wars picture... hate this kind of manipulation of the vehicle:

Dana rear axle = South American CKD: Complete Knock Down Kit. This is a truck-in-a-box. Parts arrive from Japan in a crate. Local suppliers provide manufacturing line support for a certain % of parts, and truck is put together with local labor. Classic Toyota 3rd world strategy during the 1960’s-1990’s.

So long and short of it... Your call based on what you think a Toyota Land Cruiser is... As Gregory Bateson said many years ago, “It’s the difference that makes a difference.”

EDIT: The first photo is so preposterous... LHD trucks never had fender mirrors. Thats a JDM application item only.

EDIT 2: Well, who knows... could have been a South American geek like us putting JDM s*** on a SA truck. Totally possible. And it looks so out of place especially with the non-OEM snorkel.., what’s the process for doing the front windshield and soft top with snorkel?

EDIT 3: There aren’t even the hood supports for the FST. So, this truck really is some conglomeration of different parts and trucks. I’d do a trip down to inspect if I was really serious about this vehicle.

Chinese American Racing steel white rims. :meh:

EDIT 4: But, LHD so desirable for that reason and gas. So, known commodities. Might be a fun putt-putt truck.

I looked and could not find your for sale link.

I think my split rims could last for some time yet.

Yes, that's rubber in the rusted-out hole.

Though I'm sure they would be fine, I really like the new Toyota split rims.
They look so good, it makes me swoon a bit.
In addition, they are super cheap. $50 per. Brand new. With tires. Mounted and balanced.

Only they're 5 lug.

So......

Shipping on 5 to Memphis added @$180.00.
