Ready to weld up.

2" x 6" x 3/16" rails
3/16" fish plates
3/16" inner sleeves at each weld joint

Should do the trick to support the torque from the Cummins with some to spare.....

Frame rails welded up and in. @Butt Ugly Chuck came by to review the work in progress. 3- minutes later and he would have been recruited to run the string lines and spin jacks. But, I got it done by my lonesome. I'm within an 1/8" on all measurements on the extension.

Need to weld the inner fishplates in next week and get to the the suspension layout and tack up.

Will be using the OEM upper coil and shock mounts, but the rest will be modified to a triangulated dual rear set up. Lowers to be extended 7.5" over stock 80 arms and uppers will be extended 19". With the triangulated design I will ditch the track bars as well. Custom 10 degree caster arms from @Delta VS Dave is awesome to work with if you guys ever need his products. This is my 8th set of arms I've used of his and they do not disappoint!!!!

Will be a full 8 foot bed on this build. 20" longer than Dingo's bed. For those that know and have seen Dingo.... just add another 37" tire with 6" spacing between the tires...HA!

EVEN HAD SOME TIME TO WORK ON MY SMOKER.

Got back into town from our quick trip to Spokane to see my daughter and SIL. Decided on a color for Dinkus.

Audi Nardo Gray and of course a full blackout and chrome delete.

Aye you gotta give me a holler next time you're in town! Couple good spots in the valley to grab a beer.

We were flying low on this trip. With recovering for the TIA and honestly just exhausted in general, we went to the Ziggy Marley, Robert Randolph, Marvis Staples and Trombone Shorty concert and just hung out downtown and took walks along the river and downtown.

Fair 'nuf. Next time you're in the area and have time to grab a beer drop me a PM. You could see the shameful cosmetic condition of my 62 😂

Glad you are up and around :) I have a Nardo Gray 60 sitting in the shop, let me know if you want some photos, I'll dust it off.

Front axle is in process. Going with the 9.5"

Should be finished up tomorrow.

Really like how far your axle tube alignment bar inserts go into the axle tube on your Instagram video I've done some axle narrowing in my younger days and the inserts were kinda like pucks nothing near the what you have in the vid. You probably made them in house I'm sure. Looks dope man

I have 4- 5" sleeves ( 1 each tube end and 1 each inner of diff) and then a hardened polished 1.75" bar.

Full welded and the bar and sleeves spin freely. I can't get it much straightener.
