And the older Canadians who still live in the dark ages.
16" is a hell of a whack, i went with 10" on mine, wanted a little more cargo room.
I might just copy your gas tank for a little more fuel though.

that thing looks BOSS (hows that for some 80's slang for ya) I love my new cruiser but hate that big ass and will be chopping it off as soon as my tube bender arrives and I can tie everything together, cause I'm pretty sure mine won't be that pretty just functional but anywho I like watcha done

BOSS???? i have no idea what that means.

can anyone give me the standard bumpstop height for a 60 series?
i need to extend my bumpstops for engineering,

and here are a few pix from the weekend

X3 on the factory white, wish my current 62 was white...would look sweet with the black out and Durabak on the sides
Sweet rig

paint is still undecided, white 60 over here are very very common, but i have always owned white cars, and do like the look, soo who knows

got a little bit of work done on my day off, i decided that i hated the LED tail lights, and plated in sections, so out come the grinder, cut the plates out of the light hole, to refit a slightly modified version of the factory rear lights, i will post pix soon,

i have just ordered a set of new lights and lenses, so they should be hear next week and i will mod and fit them ready for engineering,

can anyone give me the factory bumpstop height?
for SPOA over hear, i need to retain the factory spacing between the bumpstop and diff, i forget to measure mine before the SPOA.

The above is from an article in Overlander magazine in January 1986 when they compared a stcok standard HJ60 to one that had an OME suspension upgrade. No doubt there would have been slight variances throughout the years and models.

i gotta agree with you Zhenya it does look like a lada

just an update, i have final mounted and plumbed up the fuel tank
i blacked out a spare set of headlight surrounds today just to see wot it would look like, and i have to say, i LOVE the look, i will be blacking out my grill very soon

any pointers for doing this??

here is my solution to the re-routed fuel filler

After talking with my painter over the weekend, 60bob will be going white

Excellent news. White is by far the best color.
