I bet it popped its galley plug and ran without any oil. That's the main killer of these engines. Either that, or horrible lack of maintenance.

1985 with stock 2f (150,000mi) H55 trans. I've had it a year it's my 11th cruiser but my first 60. These wagons are pretty kickers. I use it as a daily driver.

Great stance! The tall skinnies absolutely make it and the FJC wheels are a perfect fit (astheticly)! Very very nice.

Greg, they're 1" Spidertrax spacers I bought from Gary at Mudrak. The wheels I got from a wrecking yard for $25 a piece, sandblasted and painted them. I was nervous about running spacers until I was at Mudraks shop and saw some hardcore cruiser (including Gary's) running them, so I cool with it. I've had them on for several thousand miles with no problems.
