What a proud moment. That's how I felt when I held those door surround pieces in my hand last year.

can't speak for him, but i used sos paint. their industrial version, mro.

I wire wheeled everything, then degreased it, i used MEK for final prep. Dupont epoxy primer and dupont gloss black.

Molasses dipped wheels. Farm fresh, 2 weeks in dip, 4 weeks final dip. Worked great.

I tried to tweak a later model bumper? Turned out so so with no early bumper to reference.

Found the bumper end template on the bench last night, thought I'd post it here in case someone else could use it as well.

Finally took the cam out. Needed to install the front motor engine mount.

Cleaned up the gauge cluster. It will get red paint soon. Look closely at the dummy lights, i flipped them inside out.
