I'm pretty sure he was referring to the owner being a clown for having the reserve so high.
 
I was hoping a Pig would bring over $20k.
These things are hard to value, and I think it is difficult to figure what kind of coverage to get for our Pigs.
I talked to @J Mack about this quite a bit at PP '17, obviously his build is in a category all on its own, but a clean Pig selling at a good price provides a useful comp.
 
For me it was the rust issue, all that nice paint would have to go to fix the rust. You've all seen it before , somebody sands down a rust bubble and he's got rust cancer everywhere. For me, replacing parts is easy, not so much metal. I'd rather buy a solid unrestored body and go from there, but you're not going to do it for $20,000. I tried, didn't happen.

If you want that truck for that cash then go for it. Like Scrapdaddy said it takes major cash cash to build them. I promise you I get that.
