:hillbilly:

A couple of guys from Adv.4x4 are also going, including Denis (who we met on the way out to Carveacre).

Yes, I had already seen that the lunacy is spreading. You can still count me in;)

I vote we meet at the same place at 7:00 and no later.

Going to change it quick . . .

Nice reinforcement over there!

My buddy Chris will be coming along as well. You met him on the Jan. run up to Sheep Canyon and such.

Looks like fun. Also looks like sliders would be very helpful on that run!
How HOT was it........

Sliders are essential. We all had sliders and we all used them at one point or another (yes EVEN Steve!). I dragged myself over almost everything. . . . I need to get those springs from Kevin.

It was hot, but not unbearable. I'd say it was in the mid 90's (?).

Both Steve and I were having A/C problems and high temps. It was pretty tough on the 80's. My hood was soooooo hot. I'm sure I could've cooked an egg on that sucker.

Oh and don't forget to submit this to the Perfect Trail Thread.....
Okay.

That looks hella fun actually.
It's a really fun area. We only did part of Bronco Peak because it got quite rough. We all agreed that we'd try it someday. We ran Sidewinder all the way though. It supposed to be only a mile long, but man, it sure seems longer. Obstacles around every turn. There are still trails that are closed due to the fire last year (Gunslinger & Bronco Flats). When those open up, there will be more exploring to do . . .

I've been out to this area many times, mostly dirtbikes. I (for some reason) never even thought of running the "interior" trails in a 4x4, even though I knew people did it. I ALWAY ran the Los Pinos Four-Wheel Drive Route which runs the perimeter. That trail does not compare to what these other trails offer. Can't wait till it cools off.

Reid, you just made me feel better about rolling on 33s and running OMEs. Seems everybody is going taller and higher but you just showed you can still hang with the old school stuff if you have the skills.

Thanks for the work on the videos.

It can get old dragging yourself over obstacles though. My sliders and rear bumper are well used. J's are in my future . . .

Glad you liked the 'work'. :hillbilly:

Great video! Makes me feel better since I wasn't there...

Uhm, no. Glad you had fun though and thanks for sharing. :D
