Subscribed. Thank guys for all the effort and hard work! I'll definitely come back for more! Last year was a blast and I think 2014 edition should be great as well.
Altogether, there were about 1500 posts on mud for the '13 event and that shows it's value among the LC crowd.
For those who haven't made it there yet, the San Juan mountains is something out of this world and worth the trip!
See you all there

I've never been to Colorado, eh. Might have to throw a big maple leaf on the LX and toss the family in for a long drive! Looks like a ton of fun.

Subscribed. Been watching daily for this notice. Looking forward to another great year.

Agree completely with Jon and Stan above. Attended last year with a mostly stock Land Cruiser (exception being A/T tires and sliders). Great opportunity to seek out what mods are necessary/unnecessary for how you plan to use your land cruiser. All of the mods I have made since the trip have been directly related to my experience and observation at HIH last year. Definitely have my endorsement as a great event and great group of folks to get to know. Sure appreciate the organizers time and hard work making this such a great event. Looking forward to this year!!!!

Thank you Bloomer for these kind words. It's important for sponsors to know that this event does have a direct impact on the 100 Series market.

From a tech standpoint, you will see EVERY combination of setup from mild to fully built. You'll see every bumper on the market, every shock, every roof rack, every tire and size. It's like a real life "search" feature on the 100 Forum. Tires will rub, sliders will scrape, bumpers will swing out.....

You might even see a mini-class on how to isolate the front diff if you break it on the trail. :wrench: This is good knowledge to have and if you can see it "hands-on" one time, you can easily do it yourself in the future.

A big shout out to all the sponsors! All those prizes combined with the giant potluck + an awesome beer selection from around the country turned friday night into an unforgettable camping night!

The 20+ hour drive last year was totally worth it. Met some great folks and was really impressed by the effort the organizers put in. Scenery was unreal, especially for a Louisiana guy. Been to CO and Utah lots of times skiing, but I feel like I had never really experienced the area properly until last year's event.

Subscribed and definitely in! Maybe this year I can convince my wife to bite the bullet and rough it for a few days...

I think I am going to miss it this year. I know you guys are bummed the life of the party on the forum won't be able to make it. I am going to be stuck in San Angelo, TX in training and it's a long course that will keep me there for most of the 2014 year. I want to second, or third the thanks to the guys who are putting this on, and the sponsors who had great things there! I've had my share of trying to obtain donations and whatnot from companies and it isn't the funnest thing in the world...the fact that you four can pull off some great freebies and coordinate a premiere event like this is fantastic! This is the only LC event I have ever been to, but I am sure it is a "must" attend for anyone with this platform. Great people! Great scenery! Great food! Great memories! I have still been fondly remembering the last trip...maybe I will just go AWOL for the weekend! Screw the Air Force! I have better things to do!

I can't make it, but would love to support the cause by paying for a above market priced shirt.

Let me know ASAP where I can send a check.

The fam and I had an awesome time last year and I'm scheming to get us on another big trip with this event being the centerpiece again this summer. The book my wife put together on Shutterfly from our 2013 road trip is 100 pages with the bulk being from the event.

I'm about 90% in (bringing my 5yr old daughter)... I think I might stop in to this famous Slee Offroad shop while we are in the area.

Any chance of Slee or others running some sales the week leading up to the trail ride?
Interested in RT tent, rack, remote res shocks,...

That'd be great if I could stop by and get a rear bumper installed leading up to the trip
