I just mounted 315/70R17 BFG KO2's (A/T) on mine 2 days ago. With this time of year, it's about dark when I leave for the office and same getting home. I plan on taking some pic's this weekend when I can get some daylight.
Since you're new, my old tires were 285/75R17 BFG KM2's (M/T) and they fit and worked great. I've already done the BMC when I first built my rig, but now I'm getting some fender liner rubbing which I'll address this weekend also.
Oh can’t wait for the pictures!!!

I love these 35s!

Slight rub when going fast around a corner and hitting a bump but that’s it. Gotta trim it and I’m good.

Those tires look great. I’d rather not go to 3” if I don’t need to. I prefer the low meaty stance since height don’t add ground clearance. I want to get the titles while discount tire is running Black Friday sale. Then either Ironman or a eibach lift.

You’ll need a BMC with 35s for sure regardless of the alignment. 315/70r17 is essentially what mine are at 35x12.50r17.

You don’t need 3” to fit. I was fine with 2.5” and some trimming/BMC.
What wheel size and offset are you running? I am trying to bring this to a close hopefully this week so that I can order the lift, tires, wheels and git r dun!

You generally want to go with the narrowest rim width that's recommended by the tire manufacturer. That is if you truly plan on offroading your rig.
A narrower rim will help keep the tire bead on the rim when you air down.

I am right in my specs with the 17x9 but I wonder if I back the offset back to +25 instead if that will help on the BMC and go with a 17x8.5. LOL Either way I will need the BMC.

That's a good tip. Yokohama says my size should go on a 8.5-11.0 inch wheel width. Glad mine are 8.5"

Damn it guys.... I am about to pull a trigger on 285/70/17 with my SCS wheels with -10 offset... but 315 really looks great.... currently I am stock wheels with 265/18 AT... it does look small after the lift. Plan to install sliders & skids + some bumpers chop.

Another good option is 285/75r17 which is a 34x11.5
For a fact, just had the BFG M/T's 285/75R17's and with a BMC and lift, I had full lock-to-lock, and full compression at all 4 corners. They fit great!
The 315's (35") have now do rub just a wee bit and that's after tearing out the wheel well liners and pounding the pinch weld. Over the holidays I'm going to look into that a little more and see where it's rubbing and see if I can address it.

What is the general highway mileage with 35s with no regear? Trying to figure that out since the car is a dd and doing overlabd trips, gas mileage was one of the main reasons I got a gx460 over an older lx570

I know you specified "no regear", but my mileage anyways is almost 14.7 MPG on a road trip last month. That is the calculated MPG with a 1.128 (tire size difference) multiplier with my dash display mileage.
Albeit, I do have front and rear lockers with regear. I did get better mileage with my 285/75R17's.

What gears do you have?
