What is a good source for an FJ40 windshield cap for a hardtop.

And can anyone verify if this windshield cap is/is not correct for this year. The FJ is a 1973. You can see that the holes do not line up correctly - see the pencils.

The guy that we bought the FJ from did not mention that it was a hard top from a different FJ, but that is not impossible.

If you do not know the provenance of your truck, it may not be safe to assume that your windshield frame is LHD either. I have one ‘cap’ as you call it that looks like it was made to work with either LHD or RHD. All four cutouts look stock. ‘78 and newer only have one cutout, for the squirter nozzle.

You might be better off modifying the one you have, as there are no reproductions that I know of for that piece.

The Crap Croozers dates are wrong. High mount center ww sprayer started with the '78 model year so 9'77-84 for the single cut-out cap. SOR call them a "visor" I think.
