Removing Body Lift:
So LePage (PO) installed a home-brew (square stock) body lift on my 77. I plan to replace it with an Energy Suspension Body Mount set.
QUESTION: What all is bolted to the body and frame/chassis that will need to be disconnected prior to dropping the body down onto the new mounts?

Nothing really. Just the body mounts ...... loosen
them all then loosely install the replacements. Once they are all installed you can talk them down. Make sure you put some anti-seize on the bolts.

Anyone have any leads on a steering box and power steering pump? Dropped the 40 off with 49 Tire because of a leak and now I'm looking at some $$$ parts. I was just refilling the reservoir every few days and now it may be time to face the music...
Right. Finding the most affordable way to do so is the challenge.
OE Toyota power steering. Needs pump, steering box and pressure hose.
City Racer makes a beautiful repo pump. I’m using it on two trucks.
As for the box. Same as with a mini truck. No true rebuild kits available but it can be resealed.

Saw this in Clinton....Figured I post in case someone wants to throw some money away. 73 with terrible wheels/tires, all gauges replaced, looks to have soft top support. Then my favorite...color matched bezel that’s upside down.... $20k is what they told...,
