@jynx allowing me to hold this piece of Johnny Nilbert goodness for the Goat means so much.

So fitting to have a piece of that CottonLand history of this historical vehicle.

I got it straightened up and installed. Rust Converter is soaking in. Good pics to follow.

Thanks to all involved in the midship

Chucked it up in the vice and straitened it out nicely.

In search of 40 Series rear bumper step.

I bought this 1970 fj-40 a few months ago because it was close and it was red.

I ended up using the hood and fenders for the Goat.

Misc parts like a sweet horn T for Patina. Fuel filler guard. 3rd member when I messed mine up.

I sold and gave away parts to 5 different folks.

Last week this sweet little trailer caught my eye and I decided to keep it and make my own just like it.

Stay tuned ..... it has begun.

You know that's an original FST tub right?

My Indians are out of sync and it is a little trippy.

The last one is un-crying once he learned an FST didn’t lose its life for a trailer.

These hinges suggest otherwise but I suppose someone may have modified or changed them.

FSTs had drop tailgates and footman loops on the corners.

PARTS Needed if anyone has these please bring to the meeting

Need a side marker light assembly with lens.

One bumperette.

The bottom spare tire swingout hinge.

Both rear reflector rings.

Whatcha got?

I double checked and I have a pair of decent bumperettes. They may not look right on the trailer without some faux patina added.

I could use some of what's left of the front of the frame if you don't need it. Is there a front bumper?

Cool. I just need one. Or bring both and I’ll match them up and give you the leftover one back.

The guy I gave my other one to may have not painted it yet and I can do some trading

Yes. But the bumper is a welded on monster.

The frame is here. Come take a look and pick away.

@MScruiser Ive decided to get a new pair from @beno so I can hook them up and use them. Thanks.

Mine still work. But if you just like spending extra money....

I’ll just use the money you owe me to pay @beno

Gotta make it worth his while to fill my tail light order.

True, like the tub I have out back :). But the hinges are a give away too. I've never been sure ALL FST's had drop tailgates either. Why are the footman loops on the barn doors if they never came on FST models?

Beno -if you're reading this... What say you, Sir?
