I'm getting my final quote today. I've added some things to the pile for the body guy to consider. I still have alot of parts to strip to get ready for paint. Plus have to go through all my totes and get out the small parts. When are you going to have it painted ?

Any ideas how to fix this dash? I've thought about just welding in sheet metal but wondering what others have done in this situation.
BTW: I have a soft top and bows that I'm looking to sell. I have to make sure all the parts are there but its a black soft top with the bows. You know anyone who might be interested in this. I'll get it in the heated shop and spread it out to make sure its as cherry as I think it is.
Garth I was workin on the 40 last night and dug out the top and bows. The top is a Kayline top, I have it thawing out in my house before I spread it all out. Here are the pics of the bows, I need to find a missing piece....see pictures. If the top and bows are OEM or OEM replications, you can put me first in-line for them. I am in dire need of a set of OEM soft top bows.
If it's an aftermarket top, like Kayline or Bestop, you can get some good cash for them, too.
Just post them up with pics in the Parts for Sale section.
Looks like your 40 is gonna be killer...
Hey Tucker that cage is sweet. I am trying to figure out how to make it a real and complete cage, not just something you bolt to the tub. I think I'm going to have a local machine shop make custom braces so I can bolt it/weld it to the frame. I think I'm going to have to put her back together. I should research more and drool less when buying a project like this. Anyway lesson learned. I'll have to finish her up and it will still be fun. If it doesn't sell I'll keep this thread going...but I'm not willing to part her out!!!You should paint it and put it back together, pretty hard to sell a project even when it's good stuffPM me if you're interested in selling the cage separate -
