Hate to do it gang but I’m gonna have to bail - the 80 is still in pieces and I won’t be able to have it back together before the trip. the logistics are bad unfortunately - so sad to miss it.

Weather update:

I’ve been watching the forecast closely, and here’s my take so far. From Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon, there should be little to no chance of rain. Saturday night, the chance of rain increases to about 50% until midnight. Early Sunday morning is when temperatures are expected to drop, with about a 70% chance of freezing rain.

If it does end up raining, we do have shelter worked out.

I know some of you will need to head home on Sunday, and the storm is expected to be worse farther north and west. I completely understand everyone’s safety concerns. That said, if you’re able to come, I think we’ll still have plenty of opportunities to enjoy ourselves—rain, shine, or even a blizzard.

If you do not plan on coming, please let me know so I can plan appropriately for Saturday’s meal.

As of now, this trip is still a go.

i am out, not sure i could get home to the raleigh area afterwards - lol.. looking like it would be a 3 day tour. John is probably the same as well.

Nathan and I will be at camp this evening at 6-ish. We plan to head home after lunch on Saturday so he can get back to Raleigh before the weather gets too bad. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

Hope y’all had fun last night. Might be a little overreacting here, but getting ready is half the fun.
