Sorry if I missed it, but anyone report any terribly negative side effects to mpg(I know, laugh laugh) with these on? Currently on 285/65/18s ko2s and thinking of the 305s next.

@eurodre I went from 285/65 to 305's and noticed a little hit on MPG. maybe 1 mpg?
I was running 305/65/18 KO2s on my 06 with AHC. I was running a sensor lift and with factory wheels no spacers I got zero rub. They fit perfectly.are you also lifted? I'm still on ahc and of course going to drag this thing out to the very end
I probably just have a lead foot then, im in 11-12s mpg with no armor, no rack etcI was running 305/65/18 KO2s on my 06 with AHC. I was running a sensor lift and with factory wheels no spacers I got zero rub. They fit perfectly.
I came from a 295/75/16 KO2 and saw no appreciable difference in MPG.
Edit: Scratch that last part. I was running the 295/75/16s on my 2000 LX. Not my 06. Too many cruisers and too many tires
That being said I was getting decent mileage with the 305s on the 06. I think around 15-16mpg.
Im running the 305/70/16's Slee front and rear bumper, Slee side steps, and full Slee Skids and rolling down the interstate at 75 I am getting 12.5. Took it on longer back road trip cruising about 50-55 and it got 14. When I throw in a lot of city driving though I've seen high 11s.I probably just have a lead foot then, im in 11-12s mpg with no armor, no rack etc
Yeah, I try to get the best mileage I can. That Cruiser was my daily driver and I have a 60 mile commute to work and back. It’s a straight shot no stop and go. I set my cruise at 60 mph (speed limit is 55) and get pretty good. When I would get on the interstate @85mph or in the city things went south real quick.I probably just have a lead foot then, im in 11-12s mpg with no armor, no rack etc
I've got Method grids +18mm with 305/65/18's in the mail, Discount tire say should be here in a week. Can't wait, probably rub with that setup but i dont think it'll be too bad.
I’ve found that and tire but the stock 18 runs with this tire even if the specs Line up the same. Not sure why.
Nothing awful.
Yeah, I’m sure you will get some rub at +18. Nothing that can’t be fixed though. My methods are +25. I think that might be the way to go for no rub and no massaging of anything. Were the Grids not available in +25?Little early here, but lost ya for a bit lol...i know people run this setup on stock which is +60mm without rubbing but with the more aggressive +18 it'll stick out past the fender a little, i like that wide stance.

Oh no doubt. BFH works wonders. Pinch weld mods are the bestYeah only available in 0 and 18, i think it'll be okay 7mm is 1/4" ? i'll take a BFH to the pinch weld and i'll roll the fenders if i need to.
You got pictures of the wheels now mounted on your rig?Ooh it's here! Big ole mofakka
