Any ideas on where I can get these wide tires mounted on my wheels? I have tried Discount Tire, Youngstedts and Midas.

Thanks..
Sorry for the late reply. My advice is to take the rims and tires into the shop off of the vehicle and ask to have them mounted. Most places will not even check. You can tell them it is an off-road use only custom chassis build if they ask make and model. No real liability there. Just don't say anything about size etc. Walk in and say you want some tires mounted and roadforce balanced. That's it. You can always go to a used tire place or even a mom and pop like G-Cat suggested.

Bumping this thread, getting tired of the weak stance of my 275/70/18. Looking to stuff 305/65/18 on method NV wheels in 18x9 ET +25 6” backspacing. I’m lifted 1.5” this shouldn’t be a problem right?

If it is I don’t care, I’ll cross that bridge when I get there :D

@FxFormat that's the mentality! have you considered 295/70/18's?

I just want to fit the widest possible tire for that beefy look. I have thought about 315/60/18 as well. Wonder how that would look/fit.

The trails I do are mild, I’m more of a snow/sand dune guy and not a technical rock crawling guy so I can have poser setups heh.

when I had 305's, it ; they were fat and beefy, but just not tall enough. that's why I am running 295's now.

I am toying with the idea of running a true 35x12.5/18 ......

I don’t care if it rubs the fender because that can be remedied somewhat with a lift. As long as it’s not constantly rubbing the control arms I’m okay. I’m used to rubbing fenders during my slammed Hondas days, if you don’t rub your wheels are weak lol. Stupid kids mentality

Not mine - mud member with 35x12.50r18 and methods +25

Says he did a lot of trimming and they still rubs.. But man does it look right on a 100

And one for you my friend. This should give you an idea of an 18x9 method (not sure but think offset is 25) with a 305/65r18 ko2

And even better it's white like yours with the black Depo's

Wow. Ive been reading this thread front to back multiple times, just like how I look at my truck front to back multiple times, more specifically the gap in the wheel well and wondering which new tires to get really soon. Thank you for all of it and to everyone. I have an ‘04 with OME 2.5 lift and the heavy duties.
But the stock 275’s. But now I am in awe of the 305’s. I never knew this size tire was a possibility. By now everyone has said what im saying but I just wanted to post a newer reply, and obviosly come back in a few days or weeks (days hopefully) to show y'all pics with them on. Lol.
@wngrog have any newer pics to share? Im this close to deciding on the 305/16/18......heres my “stinkbug” though for now.

Haha. I still LOVE this tire on a 100 or 200 series.

Mine are holding up well. I have a polished spot on the upper control arm but it’s a nice smooth spot and I can’t even see a mark on the tire.

My 16 year old daughter is the proud operator of this truck now. She’s taking great care of it.

Some crappy pics of her pulling out to school the other day. In a school of silver spoon kids she’s got the coolest ride on campus if I can say so myself

I think 305/65/18 are the perfect size if you are running 18s. They look awesome and don’t affect the truck like 35s can.

My truck felt noticeable quicker with these from the 295’s (34’s)

No way I would want 35s on it. Just not worth the side effects and strain.

I just checked. Almost 3 years and a mere 24,000 miles on these tires. They still look new.

Looking to run these sizes, does anyone know where to get C rated tires? All i see are E rated.
