I hope that I didn't miss this, but is anyone going to put this thread on cd/dvd. IIRC Miletwo did it (or mentioned he may) for the LV thread?

Awesome work Matt!

I was out of town this weekend and unable to make that local car show. While I was I gave my buddy, "Broncoabandoner" a call and asked him if he was going. Wouldn't you know it...he was heading down there with his wife with there mustang that she drag race's....:princess:.

Anyway...asked him if he wanted to drive my lpb to the show, just to make sure the kids know there's more than just the standard Detroit junk.

Needless to say, he said yes and a few pics of the action that he took.....

Also a pic of his wifes rig....and a few of the trophies she has won..:D :princess:

Buck, your rig is definitely the class of the show! Did you win any cool prizes?

I would agree with you...but, unfortunetly the judges didn't ;p

That's ok...I don't go to any of those expecting to win anything, just fun to show it off and show people some different stuff they probably have never seen before.

He did have to answer a lot of questions he said, but he is a regular/daily reader of this thread so he has quite a bit of knowledge about this rig and landcruisers in general ;)

I wish I could have been there, but it was nice that he was able to bring it.

Thanks, Matt

Matt,
The truck looks awesome, it should have won some prizes.

Just curious, are you going to put the white Toyota letters on the tailgate?

Great Job BTW :beer::beer::beer:

This here is Broncoabandoner himself, imagine getting the call from Matt asking you to drive his latest pride and joy to the local car show... I felt like I had been pitching in triple A for 7 years and finally got the call up to the majors. :D

Anyway it was lot's of fun and that truck really goes down the road nice and thru the gears smoothly. I had a good time chatting with folks about the truck and what Matt has done with it. A guy should go back to the early pages of these threads on the LV and this LPB and get the before pics and look at them alongside the recent finished photos and then you begin to realize just how good he is at this stuff. The local group of buddies around here take it for granted and to us that's just Anderson being Anderson again.

Matt it was an honor and it means alot to me to get the call. If you have somethin come up for the next show just let me know, maybe some show out of state? I don't know, just a thought.:)

Planning on the white letters. I got the pdg file from Waggoneer. Sent them to a local sign shop, but haven't followed up yet.

thanks, matt

So Matt now that your through is there any chance of a FJ55 in your future?

:D

Never say never, but as of right now....I don't see it happening. I'm kinda looking forward to taking a little break, finishing some stuff up around the house and driving my current junk around. ;p

But, you never know :D

Cool, so do you mind if I come live in your yard for a month and use your tools, paint gear and garage to fix up my 40? Since you won't be using it, after all? :D

The 45lpb looks awesome Matt. Bring it out to Colorado this summer for the Rising Sun Rally and some super scenic wheeling.
