Hey there- good looking pig! If you're ever interested in a 'pig run' I live out in Tooele....

Just sayin... .

Hopefully Sami188 won't be bothered by this anymore. I talked to the PO - he talked with the Utah DMV and told them he wasn't looking to get the truck back and didn't want to be involved any further. He knew where it was and didn't want the current owner to get screwed because of someone else's shady decisions. The PO said the state told him it was being passed to the DA's office for review and he wouldn't be contacted anymore unless he specifically requested information. He told them no thanks - as has washed his hands of the 55. He is picking up a 40 this week and has moved on.

Jason's pig should be his without worries. Russ and Portal-Heck not sure what if anything will happen to them - doubt it. If the truck were worth $15,000 the story would be different but a rusted out pig - to most on here they are priceless but to the state - this is a small stuff - maybe.

It is a very interesting read....
I'm glad to hear that the PO will be able to move on-hope he enjoys that 40! Alright Sam, she's all yours now, Show us how you're gonna let that pig move forward.

I'd be interested in hosting a Pig Run again, I did it in 03, 04 and 05. By 06 there were not any pigs on the road to make the event. We had 2 pigs on the RelicRun this last year, that was pretty dang cool. I'm expecting a couple of pigs on the RelicRun again this year.

Very stand up of him

Hope his 40 works out for him, have him ring me if he needs any help with it.

I still can't get over what a small world it is. Jason, Brian, and the PO sitting around the campfire that night listening to that story all the meantime I remembered bits and pieces of the back story with usmcruiser and PabloCruiser. Craaaaazy.

I'm up for it Kurt-

I've been wanting to hit Indian springs or the Deep Creek's this spring, if that sounds interesting to you...

Kurt,

I will definitely be in once I get my Pig a little more road worthy, it is really close just needs some small things, like turnsignals, etc. I also think I am going to have to hit you up for those 70 spring's for the rear of my pig once I get settled in in Denver.

Ryan.

Cool, let me get through some spring events I have coming up and we'll get something on the calendar for the fall. We did a customer run through Indian Springs this last year so I'm not sure we'll be doing that agani this coming year but I'm always up for it... I get out that way a few times each year. If doing Indian Springs you might want to head over to Death Canyon too, just to the south and lots of neat mining relics. A freind of mine owns some mines in the area so we had a bit of peak

Awesome, it would be great to have you!

I installed a new water pump last night. I think the cooling system had an air bubble, cause I had all sorts of boiling water in the overflow bottle and the temp was higher than normal. Got it all straightened out today, and she's running awesome!

I felt like taking some photos today...

The pig handled the rough roads of the Uintah mountains with ease.. Minus a front brakeline that pulled out.. But aside from that, she had little issue... Event the altitude didn't seem to phase her.

I've been thinking about the future of both of my pigs. My off-roading background is in more extreme type 4 wheeling, such as rock crawling, and i'd like to get into that again. So, i'm thinking that over time I'll build 'Clementine' into a decent rock pig.. 35-37"s, ARB lockers, bumpers, sliders, Lexus V8, roll cage, and at some point make it into a pickup.

The red one was going to eventually make it's way onto Clementine's chassis.. but i'm thinking it'd be so much more fun to clean it up, put a 3.4 w/ auto under it, paint, and clean the interior. That way my wife and I could daily drive that one (hence the auto cause she prefers auto), and i'd still have a trail pig for abusing on the rocks.

It'll take awhile for either of these to come to full fruition, but my wife likes the idea too.. So hopefully in the coming months i'll have Clementine sprung over on 35's, and in the middle of hunting down a 3.4 w/ tranny for the red guy.
