There is also the SC400 oil pan (harder to find), which is the "most rearward" factory oil pan for the UZ engines, I believe. There are also a number of aftermarket steel pans available these days, although they're spendy.
The 100 series pans a readily available and allow for more than enough clearance.

Wow. This is awesome. The timing is perfect for me. I pulled apart my 40 years ago with a 2UZ/H42 sitting in the garage. I even got a bellhousing from Dellow, but they require custom this, custom that. I need engine mounts as well. I see cruisermatt asked about that. The irony is, NWToys used my 40 to develop 2UZ swap mounts, but I never got any since I got sidetracked on my 85 4Runner 1UZ swap. Glad to see that it works with the 60/80 series steering box. Will SOA allow room for oil pan options? I have a few different UZ pans in my personal parts "warehouse."

Any good pics of engine mounts, transmission crossmember?

I assume that this adapter will also work for the '3 speed' F bellhousing, giving the opportunity to run an Dodge NV4500 behind a 2UZ as well?

We haven't done with a SOA yet so not real world experience. My instinct tells me that the 100 series pan set up will still be the best route to go as the sump sits in the back.

Thanks for pursuing this project. Plan on using your adapter in my '88 Fj62. I have a 2000 2wd Tundra donor. Do you have a good list of what is needed out of the donor truck?
Nice! Engine with flexplate, bolts and two spacers (one on each side of flexplate), entire engine harness and fuse/relay box w/ ECM, power steering fluid reservoir, intake tube w/ MAF, both engine side mounts. You will need to send your harness and ECM to Tim and Lexus V8 to get it reworked and flashed.

The F Bellhousing will bolt to our adapter but I don't know about NV4500 compatibility to that bellhousing. As far as I know it doesn't mate up....

Tigerstripe asked about an NV4500. I'm interested in running an SM465 for that fantastic 6.55 1st. From what I have read, that is a direct bolt up to the F/J30 transmission. I know you guys are busy, I tried to call the shop and left a message. Please let me know availability for this. I would need engine mounts as well.

AA makes a plate adapter that works with a 3 speed bell housing to adapt to a Dodge NV4500

Should work. I have an SM420 (7.01:1 first gear) currently which is bolted to a '3 speed' bell housing. NV4500 has a 6.34:1 first gear, and over drive.

I'm strongly thinking about getting this adapter so I could run the SM420 I have until I can source the parts for an nv4500. What is really like to see is a UZ -> TR4050 adapter.

The J30 Bellhousing will bolt to our adapter. We are out of stock of adapters currently but I have another production run in process. They should be available early July. Shoot me an email with your name, phone number, email address, shipping address and a reminder of all of the parts you are after and I will get an order started for you. info@overlandcruisersmt.com

Thanks!
