Turbo..........................
Propane Injection...........................

Ever seen a Gama Goat ? .........these two Stroke Amphibian Vehicles?

They used a Blower for these things....... and with a bit of work and a homemade intake.....it could get a nice second life...... ;)

dam boys, iv been looking for a way to make more power, i guess im in on a turbo'd f2, my 2f has the MAF RV cam, will that make even more power?

Yes, the stock cam peters out at about 4K

peters out? thats a new one on me Mace, what do you mean?

CAm's are built with a specific RPM range. Above those RPM's they do not perform as well. Plus valve springs are not designed for it from the factory

Which is why I am getting ready to build another 2F as soon as I am done with the 5.0 ;)

@Mace
I may have missed it. What carb are you running on the turbo set up?
It's a holley 390 4 barrel butterflies and a impco 425 propane mixer.

Do you remember how you jetted it?
There is no replaceable jetting in the mixer. Just screw adjustments.

The Holey 390 is just the throttle plate. secondaries are converted to mechanical instead of Vacuum. The Mixer bolts to the throttle plate.

Thanks man. I knew you had propane, just not sure of the carb. Didn't realize it just took the baseplate. am still doing research on this experimental 3FE block with a 2F head and adding a turbo. There is belief it would be a good turbo motor due to lower compression. I just don't want to spend way too much on a looney experiment. Just doing it for fun.
Are you running an MSD or similar ignition system?

Just a petronix. Nothing special. I had a MSD, didnt matter much.

You should just use a sniper kit if your going that far.

No thanks. Those are way too finicky. Everyone I personally know that has one (I guess about 5 people) has trouble with them. A shop I know had like three in a row outta the box that were DOA and parts were hard to get. (It was the controller every time iirc). Not worth the scratch.

I would like to keep it as simple as possible but I know I would need a carb sealed to take boost.

🤷‍♂️ I put one on my F in 2018 and haven’t had a single issue. I have a couple thousand miles on it. Most issues come from poor installation.

Good for you.

" Most issues come from poor installation" - I would say NOT in the sniper case. The first version was very problematic with component parts DOA & ecu issues along with some design/packaging problems that were discovered after they got some run time.
The current version seems to have ironed out the packaging, internal parts issues, and reliability.
As far as installation, supplying the unit with proper fuel pressure, provide required sensors, proper voltage, thats about it.
