Also, is is my go to filter for a 2F. Same size as the big oem filter, made in Germany and it has a nut for easy removal.

Hengst H17w02

About $12 online.

I’m running one on a 3FE with a dual Stage Pareto point filtration system. It bypasses 10% of the oil into a 5 micron hydraulic filter.

It’s working well considering that this engine was locked up due to likely not having the oil changed for about 12 years or 15,000 miles. I’m running rotella in it now with 2q of ATF to clean out the crankcase. The final picture is before and after the initial cleaning.

The engine is at 292,000 miles now.

On my 2F I’m at 340,000 miles with a hengst filter and either Rotella 15w40 T6 or mobil 1 15w50 synthetic.

I’ve run the Mobil out to 10,000 miles with a proper result from the testing at black stone. The 2F worked well with synthetic and doesn’t leak.

I’ve got two daily driven F motors with a third coming into play soon, I’ll have no problem using up the 60+ oem 15600-41010 or the several dozen oem, micro and hengst sitting around the house.

I don’t think I’ll need to buy another filter for at least a decade, but I likely will.

60, 62, 40 and 6.1 hemi all use the same filter now.

I’m set.

Solid, thanks for jumping in!

What makes you switch between 15w40 T6 or Mobil 1 15w50? Time of year or just tinkering?

Good to hear another person playing with multiple F engines... I've got a 2F and 3F. Oil and filters are the same.

Would love to see your Blackstone results here.

Availability this time. Walmart didn’t have the m1 where I was.

I’ll find my black stone results and post them.

All my F motors run good. The 3fe was a battle at first but I’m very happy with it.

I’ll turn my 2F into a 2FE eventually.
