Long live the 2F
Also, is is my go to filter for a 2F. Same size as the big oem filter, made in Germany and it has a nut for easy removal.

I’m running one on a 3FE with a dual Stage Pareto point filtration system. It bypasses 10% of the oil into a 5 micron hydraulic filter.
It’s working well considering that this engine was locked up due to likely not having the oil changed for about 12 years or 15,000 miles. I’m running rotella in it now with 2q of ATF to clean out the crankcase. The final picture is before and after the initial cleaning.
The engine is at 292,000 miles now.
On my 2F I’m at 340,000 miles with a hengst filter and either Rotella 15w40 T6 or mobil 1 15w50 synthetic.
I’ve run the Mobil out to 10,000 miles with a proper result from the testing at black stone. The 2F worked well with synthetic and doesn’t leak.
