22re crazy rattle/knocking

I took a couple but it was hard to hear. It sounded exactly like this though.

 
Anything loose on accessories bolted on the block? Sounds tinny.

Only when you get tired of trying to fix it and you take it to a mechanic. Then it's "what noise?"
 
Just to be clear, the video above was NOT mine. My noise sounded exactly like that though.

My theory is that the timing chain damper oil passage was blocked with a little piece of garbage and not keeping tension on the chain at higher rpm. Getting it hot and running it through the RPM range helped clean it out.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
 
Oh and to follow up that video came from a thread on Yota tech and the issue was timing chain related (head had been decked by PO and timing chain was too long blah blah blah).
 
You probably decked your head in your sleep one night. It happens all the time. You wake up and find grease under your pinky fingernail...
