Call it what you want…

LC Sport
Baby LC
Beta LC

This is not a real LC! Is this going to be called an LC in the countries that sell the 300 along side, No! This was simply made to appease the US emission requirements and all help all the GX/4R fanboys finally be able to afford a LC. Toyota doesn’t care they have completely discredited the LC name just like they slap TRD on everything.

With all due respect, if Toyota is calling it a Land Cruiser, and it’s coming from the Tahara plant, and it’s a full time 4WD - sounds like a Land Cruiser to me.

Fact- the Land Cruiser isn’t A vehicle, but a family of vehicles. And if anything currently made is “real”, it’s the 70 series, not a Wagon.

Should be built in the 4Runner plant as opposed to the lower vol LC300 plant.
They used to build some LC 200s in Tahara actually and I won't lie, sometimes I felt those Tahara 200s were just a little better.

I used to see batches where they had mixed LC 200s some from Yoshiwara and some from Tahara and I found bumpers color match better on average on Tahara rigs as well as panel gap alignments of certain things.

Maybe I don't know what I am talking about and it is all in my head.

Both are excellent though.

Doesn't seem like the LC300 will ever be built in Tahara though but you never know.

The Toyota LC200 was built in either yoshiwara or Tahara at the time ( more of them built in Yoshiwara though ) and the Lexus LX was always yoshiwara only ( and that has excellent fit and finish regardless )

Not sure about US spec though I am talking about GCC spec.

oh and yes
The 250 will be built in Tahara.

I want a Land Cruiser like the LC100 again, I want something revolutionary.
Let's be real, the LC100 lost the solid axle, okay its less capable off road, but honestly I never drove my 100 off road and said yes, I wish I had an 80....BUT I owned an 80 once alongside my 100 and everytime I drove the 100 I was glad I wasn't driving the 80...

I want another Land Cruiser like that...something that changes what we are used to and just leaps into the future.
Bravo! Not many have the gumption to speak the truth like that!

The highest quality 200's are widely known to have been manufactured in the Yoshiwara plant, the traditional home of the Toyota Land Cruiser.

:D Kidding, of course! Have you seen this thread? Speculating on quality is almost as entertaining as speculating on future vehicles.

I feel like maybe out of respect for the guys preparing all the reveal and stuff

If we find anything accidentally a few hours before the leak or something, maybe best not to post it here.

We waited so long, only a few hours left.

I know that sometimes things go out of control and it spread everywhere but let's help not spread things further.

Or until the admins give us the green light.

The LC80 I wanted/dreamt is not / was not sold here in USA: It had the AC air vents in the back ! I was thinnking to import one now that I can.... but, I agree ! Something revolutionary is what I want now!

*. LC250 in a form of a Prado, which for you that have not lived in a country that sells the Prado, it is / was an equally capable vehicle !
*. Some sort of more efficient engine. Yes, it might be a risk, but I gotta trust in Toyota and how they have been the king of reliability, and as such, it will continue !
*. Hope for a hybrid.
*. Hope for two versions: Low end with cloth seats, high end with all the luxury
*. 4x4 capable goodies available in the low end model.

What I want? A Prado that I have been wishing for ages in the USA (did not want to bother to transform a GX to a Prado) with cloth seats, all the 4x4 goodies, at a lower price !!!

Let's go PRAces TOYOTA !!! ;-)

If it does wind up being offered with the hybrid powertrain I hope Toyota figures out a better way to package the battery than what they did in the Sequoia. Having half of the load floor tied up with a battery makes this a tough sell for those that routinely haul around big dogs. If they do put in back there maybe they can add some kind of drawer system in the remaining space to give some hidden storage as well as a flat floor. Anything would be better than the s***ty shelf they came up with on the Sequoia.

This! As a Sequoia owner, the packaging of the third row/cargo area is a mess. Hopefully, they have a better solution for the LC.

In this picture the battery sits as high as the back seat cushions. The 3.44 tt V6 looks like it has a nice flat floor bigger than the 4Runner. I don't see how the LC250 will pull off a flat floor unless the 2.4 turbo base motor is also available.

This picture appears to show it just as high on the 3rd row, we shall see tonight how (or if) they are going to make this better in a 2 row version

I suspect the Silver/tan/earth colored one is a base trim?
