If you are putting the vacuum canister on the right side you will need one of these as well.

unfortunately, it bolts under the timing cover on top of water pump but has the twin tubes for water line and vacuum line.

The transmissions arrived this afternoon. Two brand new H152’s ready to mate up to the FT/FTE’s.

Thursday afternoon update. The build continues but a few things up in the air. For starters, my red 80 series project encountered a bumpy road In the engine department. So unfortunately I swiped the brand new FTE slated for this truck and its now in the 80 series and bolted up to the new H152. Looks good. That means this truck is likely going to be powered by a manual pump FTE motor - less wires. Once we realized the engine slated for the 80 series was a boat anchor I hastily ordered a brand new OEM FTE short block along with everything to build the engine as new. But, I lost patience with shipping and just grabbed the long hanging fruit FTE that was already built at @SNLC shop. The replacement motor should be pretty good though - the pump and injectors are now at Gturbo for the works along with a new turbo.

I also had @c2dfj45 order some insanely nice custom Scheelmann seats for this truck. They arrived yesterday.

But......I snagged them for the 80 series as well. That is probably temporary as I have my eyes on something custom for the 80 series (maybe brown leather and brown alcantara inserts) but I haven’t really made up my mind. So these will likely end up in the Camel when its all said and done.

There is obviously a strong understanding of OEM upholstery pattern selection, to my knowledge they didn’t, but it looks like a style that Toyota would have had in a 70 Series pick up.

That was the idea. The original factory seats are still in the truck and they are....boring. Chris found this pattern under the “hauling camels in style” section of the fabric store.

Honestly I should have thought of this better. Adding those seats would probably require a suspension base delete before brackets.

Adding brackets on top of the suspension bases would have my head sticking out the sunroof.

I’d just delete the suspension setup altogether. You won’t miss it.

They are 60/40. Not sure of what to do with them just yet. Some things are up in the air.

Generally a base set runs around $3,000 a pair. If you add a few options (heat, some adjustments, arm rest, map netting, etc) you usually get around $4,000 a pair. Throw in some shipping, brackets etc.

You are only limited by your imagination and wallet on a custom set. You can easily add 50 percent or more to the price points above.
