My apologies. We had a household issue and I didn’t make it out of here this morning.

Good turnout, I think there were sixteen. Aaron @Pacer volunteered to be the new president, and we all agreed. Gary @shmukster will remain the secretary, and I will retain treasurer duties. Not much else happened with the exception of eating, chatting, and looking at trucks...

It was a good time and nice to put some names with faces that I haven't met on trails yet. Looking forward to the nicer wether and getting out in the woods.

Sorry we missed you.
I suggest next time we park off to the left as you're looking at the cavernous Shady Maple. By the time I got there, there was no parking with the group. And this way there will be less traffic for Greg to play in...

One goal as President of our club here is to get some overnights going, which should be easy with the campground opening at AOAA.
Family Camping Cruise? For another thread...

Good to see you all, sorry I couldn't hang longer. Had some 10 year olds in tow who were eager to get to Go'N Bananas fun center just down the road. Good times!

Good pictures Aaron. Thanks for volunteering to be pres! Yeah it was a good turnout and the weather cooperated too.
My wife and i were in the Shamokin area Friday and I drove into the AOAA lot to see what was happening. It was about 2 in the afternoon maybe three dozen truck and trailer rigs there. It looked to me like they are prepping a road to go into the new camping area. It's off to the left as you come down the main driveway and turn right toward the office and registration building. It was graded nicely and blocked with a pair of sawhorses. Will be interesting to see what the campground is like!

Why does Vince seem to be the only one that cares about the written material handed out? Just sayin.. LOL

@Pacer, what filter did you use for those pics? they look like the yellowed and faded Polaroid pics of my 1960's/1970's childhood!

Low light and this fansy LG phone of mine. Same one I've taken most of my recent pics/videos. If you look at the Trekker pics in my shop, they're the same way.
Cracked the screen leaving the Shady Maple as a matter of fact, replacing it soon.

Maybe he'll take the time to post some write ups. Maybe you could give Trails Offroad another shot Don, just be sure to copy/save your work before you submit it ;)

I'm still a member, I think, Look me up (Don/Donald Diehl) and you'll see my bio. Next local trip we take up to Bald Eagle St Forest I may give it another try. I still have the directions sheets, etc. Really though Pacer, does one really want detailed point to point direction? I'm much more into telling the story of the trail/adventure/journey, then allow the reader to go out and explore for themselves. Then again, I may have my head completely up my butt and there is a HUGE market for point to point, turn by turn, directions. Nonetheless, perhaps I'll give Todd and his idea another shot...
