Alright all you guys with KDSS system and have a lean on the passenger side. Mine is lower by 1/4” in the front passenger and 3/4” in the rear.

What is the best option to get rid of the lean?
-loosen the valve and drive up on a wood block
-KDSS spacers
-KDSS delete
-deal with the stupid lean

From what I understand the KDSS sway bar spacers haven't been all that effective or only sightly improve the lean. The valve adjustment is short lived as the system is always changing. Some days mine looks damn near level and others the bar passenger side is squatting an inch and a half, it's frustrating.

You could delete the system but I am not sure how involved it is or how many have pursued that route. Supposedly there is an electronic switch system coming to market that resets the system with the push of a button at will. I am following it closely and they are close to a full production unit and hope to have it to market by the end of the year.

I did open the valves, drive up the block on the driver rear and closed the valves. After driving off the block my front is leveled but the rear is still at 3/4” lean. They said to repeat the process but drive up something taller. I’ll give it a go this morning.

There has been someone with a 4runner that deleted their KDSS and love it. I’ll try to find it.

What about adding this coil spacer to the passenger rear? It’s 20mm so roughly 3/4”

Apprears to be here in KDSS Lean thread and Saudi Arabia with a Prado.

Weird they lift the left side over the right like every other video I’ve watched. I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks!

It doesn't last.

Also here are some GX pictures to make us happy haha

It won't last that long. The switch will be out before the end of the year. I should have one from the first run.

Once you get it let us know how you like it and if it fixed the lean permanently. Thanks!

Will do! They have been field testing it for a while now. I have high hopes.

I avoided KDSS on all three of the 5th Gen 4Runners we owned prior to this GX for this very reason. IMHO, with KDSS the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I wish it were an option on the GX like it is on the 4Runner, I would have bought one without it if it were.
