I avoided KDSS on all three of the 5th Gen 4Runners we owned prior to this GX for this very reason. IMHO, with KDSS the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I wish it were an option on the GX like it is on the 4Runner, I would have bought one without it if it were.

What are your thoughts on getting the 20mm Ironman coil spacer on just the passenger rear? That should get me the 3/4” lift back.
 
I was chatting with Blackgate just now... they just got the production prototype this week, finalizing some finish things and doing additional Q&A testing before production. Like Tex68w was saying they should be ready for sale in the next couple months.

IDK, some people have gone that route. The system never settles the same so I feel like with the use of a spacer in the springs/coils you'd be introducing another variable that could further alter the balance. I can live with 1/4" of lean but 3/4"+ is starting to get ridiculous and I hate how it looks. It bothers me that it lacks asymmetry lol.

Yea, they got the first production prototype this week. I am hoping that they will release me one prior to the initial public launch so I can try it out and see if it's worthy. I might be able to save everyone a chunk of change if it's just a bunch of snake oil lol.

I just ordered the Ironman 20mm spacer for the passenger rear coil. I’ll try it out and see if it works. Like you did the 1/4” isn’t a big deal but the 3/4” drives me nuts haha. If I can get everything within 1/4” I’ll be happy. I should have it this week.
 
Ok I just did the whole driving on the wood block four times and the front is even and the back is now 1/2” lean. I can live with that, but I’m still going to attempt the Ironman spacer on the passenger rear.
 
Just received the spacer. Crossing fingers it helps.

I’ll have sometime this weekend to install the spacer. I have one question to all the GX owners. With how sensitive the kdss system is, do you see an issue with me just lifting the rear off the ground to install the spacer? In the Ironman install video they show/recommend you lift both front and rear due to the KDSS.
 
Ironmans 20mm spacer worked!!! Both sides are around 24” from center of wheel to fender. I’ll keep checking once a week to see if it stays within 1/4”. So far I’m pleased. Best part was it only took me 20 minutes to install.

I might end up going the same route as you with the small spacers. This is how mine was sitting yesterday, I am so sick of KDSS.

Nice bumper!

I just installed a 1/4” spacer in the passenger front. Now all corners are within 1/8”. I am really pleased with it now. It was getting to the point of me trading the GX in for a 4runner trd pro. The lean was truly annoying but I do like the KDSS system. Solid on the road and soft on off-road.

I like the bumper but it has a small rattle on wash board roads I just discovered this week so I need to figure that out.

I came from a TRD Pro 4Runner to the GX, you’d be taking a step backwards overall if you made that move. What’s the part number for the front spacer?

If I couldn’t get rid of the lean the 4runner trd pro would be the only option for me. Suv, 4wd, Toyota, etc. but giving up the V8 and the interior would suck.

Just changed the oil on the GX last night. Forgot how difficult it is. Anyone make a skid plate that makes it easier to get to the filter canister?

Ordered a rear diff skid plate. Next is either sliders or roof rack.
