Ha-ha!! Dirty pic's!
Trail porn!!
With all due respect, those are pretty whimpy looking tires on that Jeep. They look like stock All-Season tires.

I was thinking the same thing!!! Those looked like factory tires...which suck for that application.

33” copper at3 XLTs. Good tires but not in clay.

Even my new falkens looked bald with all the clay in between the tread. Mud terrains are the right choice in this scenario.

Oh and heading to Snoqualmie pass again around 9am if anyone is thinking about heading out.
We were up above the ski resort most of the day Saturday. Where did you enter the lake area? The Hyak boat launch?

If anyone local needs suspension installed let me know and I can help for a much smaller fee than a local shop. I just bought an air compressor and a lot of tools for the job. Trying to do this on the side for extra cash for GX parts hahahahah.

I’ve done 3 GXs, 2 4Runners, 4 tacomas, 2 tundras and a handful of nissans and Jeeps so I got some experience.

Noted.

Anyone local looking for almost new 285/70r17s? I’m in the process of going to 35s haha. Damn this thing is a money pit

Also looking to sell the hatch ladder and some other goodies.

Trail just outside our cabin. Told the wife “see that hill? We could do it if we had 35s” 🤣🤣🤣

She said ya ok but you’d still be scared to try it…

Wow! Love the tread pattern!
Have you had them on the highway yet?
Noise level?
Ya these are meaty!

I had these before on my truck in 285/75r16. I can confidently say these are the quietest mud terrains out there. I had KM2s and Toyo MTs before and those are noisy as balls haha

How do they sound when they're about half worn? I've always found the KM2's to be quiet until about half life.

I only put about 10k miles on them before selling the truck. But I have read online that people have said even worn these yokos are quiet compared to the rest.

Also meant to ask, how's the rubbing, if any?
Has the inner liner been trimmed/removed and pinch welds pounded yet?
Have you been able to stuff the tires yet? Maybe with a jack under the lower control arm and just jack it up with the wheel turned all the way outward?
One last question, what is actual diameter of your tires and width? My 315/70R17's measure (per BFG spec's) 34.5" O.D.
Apologies for the barrage of questions.

No worries.

I trimmed some plastic front and rear and hammered the pinch weld. There is only a slight rub on my BMC when fully locked and backing up. But only on the passenger side so a proper alignment should take care of that.

I have not tried stuffing it by using a Jack only cause I knew there was slight rubbing already. I’m definitely going to grind down some of the BMC anyways.

They measure at 34.7 OD
