New pic! This is the new color btw dark brown/bronze. This was taken at one of the local ME GCC Toyota underground parking. Must be the vehicle they are using for GCC commercials.View attachment 1100969

So they are sticking with he camel toe hood and the grill bisecting the headlights. SMH.

I have to say that to my eye the new front end - the headlight detail in particular - looks unnecessarily complex, arkward and blinged out. OK, I'm not exactly your typical LC owner but you put some bars on that and it's going to look like a train wreck. But let's hope someone tries.

This will be the wife's new used car in 3 years. Sweet- almost too pretty to put a ARB on the front.

@Desert Nomad It's in the underground parking of the Toyota dealership in festival city.
:hmm: who's in for a joyride? I'll try to speak to one of the sales managers and see if possible to have a sneak peek or get some more info on it although they're usually very tight lipped. From the pic in the rear looks like it's got a square exhaust pipe

That square exhaust will pose problems for the folks who got confused by their accelerators/floor mats previously (or who need labels on coffee describing it as a hot beverage). I can see people thinking its a receiver hitch -- watch out Toyota...

I wouldn't look too much into the square exhaust, seems like an chrome exhaust tip which is is just part of the accessories. Same goes for the chrome trim around the license plate area and the front.

I think that's just an optical illusion. To my eye, the exhaust is pointing downward like it does with the current model. I can see how you'd see a square exhaust though.

Overall, I think that this is a pretty great looking update. The headlights / taillights sitting more flush to the body will definitely make my spouse happy. Although she loves our current 200, she doesn't like the way the current headlights "stick out."

Looking forward to seeing the interior. Can't wait for more LX shots too.

YouTube has some nice scans of the brochure - including inside pics.
