All they did was make the front look like the U.S. GX460.
If they do that it will be a huge mistake JMHO

The closest thing we had to a full spindle on the Lexus LX was the supercharged version, they don't make it anymore but the grille wasn't bigger they just blacked out the lower parts to make it look bigger.

That Spindal grill design is just flat out disgusting IMO. Toyota must of hired a group of anima children's cartoonist to do their auto designs. They have some of the ugliest alien monster looking crap going on, out across both lines right now, don't see how anyone could find these designs attractive on an automobile more importantly on the Lexus, which here in the U.S. Is generally purchased by a very wealthy conservative demographic, that 16 alien/Spindal grill design is not likely going sell well here in the states.

They integerated the spindle grille very nicely to the design, on the current version ( 2013 +). I actually like it more than the earlier 570.
If the new 2016 looks anything like that render, well.....the LX is dead to me.

Agree the 13 change looks good, but I like the 08-11 design better. The new GX design is FU!!!

The GX 460 was ugly from day 1 with the horrible frog eyed front end, seriously, i would love to see the design proposals and how they ended up with this front end.
i had hope they would make it look nicer for the update, because it is actually a nice vehicle and the rest of it doesn't look too bad.

Is it just me or does that hood have a pronounced camel toe?
I was thinking the same thing, could be the lighting but it sure does look like it???
Interesting take on the hood that blends itself right into the grill...looks more masculine than the stuff they have been producing recently. Not bad.
Toyota is about dead to me. They have taken everything great about their products and "Americanized" them to death. Rather than make true to their roots practical trucks they make bloated plastic p.o.s'. How is one supposed to upfit that vehicle for a winch or bullbar? Same as the new 4 runner.....oh look we have a 4wd lever and a locker! Yeah and tons of blind spots and way undersized drivetrain components. Looks like unless they do something full retard I'll be sticking with Jeeps from here on out unless Mr T gets his head out of his butt.
I like most of it. The toyota badge in the grill is a little over sized. I know Ford started this over sizing badges, I just wish others didnt follow this design direction.
No deal breaker problems, i most likely will buy one at some point, now if they give me super white back in us spec, i might be ready as soon as there available.
